FOWSP includes 241 families, interested in the conservation and rehabilitation of Warrandyte Sate Park. Formed in 1982, FOWSP is now amoungst the largest, most active Friends groups in the Victoria.
We help the Parks Victoria Rangers in the care and protection of Warrandyte State Park, as well as the Warrandyte-Kinglake Nature Conservation Reserve. We also provide information about conservation - particularly information about indigenous plants.
We also run a large and thriving indigenous plant nursery.
Nursery Opening Hours
The Nursery is open for plant sales:
- Thursdays 9:30 am to 12:30 pm;
- the first Saturday of every month, 9am to 1pm (April to November only).
The Nursery is closed Christmas Day, New Years Day and days of extreme weather.
